Cad/Cam Facilities

The Computer Aided Design Workstation has AutoCAD LT software installed , this work
station is linked to the Internet for Email and Web services from which design and
manufacturing data can be mailed to us direct, enabling a quick exchange of data between
us and the client

Supplied or generated data can also be plotted interrogated or passed via the CAD
workstation to our CAM system for the generation on machine tool cutter paths. Once the
geometry has been passed to the CAM system machine tool code can be generated for any of
the machine tools available, making for a very flexible and comprehensive manufacturing
approach |

Our current systems comprise of :-2 Computer Aided Manufacturing Work Stations running the latest Camtek Full Peps
Milling and Turning software.
These workstations are linked via internal network to a NC Comms station in the main
Machine shop, for Direct Numerical Control and data exchange between the CNC machine
tools.
